As a Senior Art Director Digital, you take creative co-responsibility for ambitious digital brand worlds, campaigns and experiences on an international level. You independently develop strong visual concepts and ideas, assess and elevate the work of others, and bring motion, 3D and AI expertise into projects in a targeted and forward-looking way. You work closely with Creative Direction, provide professional guidance to Junior and Mid-Level Art Directors, and know how to ensure and evolve creative quality beyond individual projects.

WHAT YOU DO
- Independently develop and assess visual concepts, ideas and motion approaches for digital campaigns, experiences and platforms
- Evaluate and further develop designs, motion concepts and animations created by other team members
- Provide professional guidance and support to Junior and Mid-Level Art Directors in day-to-day project work
- Actively integrate and advance AI and generative AI tools within creative workflows
- Take responsibility for high design quality and consistent visual execution — within projects and across team boundaries
- Develop and maintain visual styles, motion languages and digital design systems
- Collaborate closely with Creative Direction, Creative Technologists and Development on a conceptual level
- Actively share expertise, trends and creative know-how within the team
- Contribute to pitches and new business opportunities on a visual and conceptual level
WHO YOU ARE
- 5–8 years of professional experience as an Art Director or Senior Digital Designer, ideally within a digital or creative agency
- Strong portfolio focused on digital brand worlds, motion, design systems and visual concepts on an international level
- Excellent sense of aesthetics, storytelling and digital brand impact — and the ability to apply this sense to the work of others
- Excellent motion design skills; solid expertise in digital design and 3D
- Deep affinity for AI, generative AI and emerging creative technologies, with a clear understanding of their value within the creative process
- Strong ability to work independently, take responsibility and actively ensure creative quality
- Enjoyment of developing others, sharing knowledge and advancing creative standards within the team
- Fluent in English and very good German, both written and spoken
